Things are looking up for Mindee Wells. She's just quit her soulless corporate job to follow her dream of owning a cupcake shop in a charming mountain town, she's met the man of her dreams, and her future is bright. There's just one problem- she needs an assistant and she needs one fast.

Enter Lucinda Knowles, who seems perfect. She's bubbly, polished, and put together.  If anything, she seems over qualified for the job.

But something is off. Right after Lucinda is hired, strange things start happening. She trades the innocent girl-next door look for sultry vixen and behaves overly familiar with Mindee’s boyfriend. She tells customers she is the actual owner of the shop. She plays dumb when an order is sabotaged and the time of a major event is mixed up. It might just be paranoia setting in, but Mindee can’t shake the feeling that Lucinda is trying to steal her business…and her life.
